On Tuesday, 11th February 2025, the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Kaduna Area Council, organized a lecture at the 1000-seater audotorium of Kaduna State University (KASU). The event, themed “Ina Sonki” (“I Love You”), featured Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa as the guest speaker.
Sheikh Daurawa delivered an insightful lecture on selecting the right spouse, stressing the importance of choosing a partner who would be a responsible and nurturing parent to future children. He cautioned that simply expressing affection with phrases like “I love you” is not enough. Instead, he advised individuals to consider essential qualities before accepting a marriage proposal, especially in today’s society, where superficial expressions of love are common.
The lecture provided valuable guidance to students, encouraging them to make informed decisions when choosing life partners. It underscored the need to look beyond surface-level emotions to ensure a harmonious and fulfilling marital relationship.
