Dr. Samira Balarabe, the Registrar of Kaduna State University (KASU), is dedicated to fostering administrative excellence and promoting inclusivity within the university. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Master’s in Conflict, Peace, and Strategic Studies from KASU. Dr. Balarabe’s leadership journey at KASU began in 2006 as an Administrative Officer I in the Registry Department’s Legal Unit.
Over the years, she has held various critical positions, including Faculty Officer, Secretary of the Postgraduate School, and Deputy Registrar. In March 2023, Dr. Balarabe was appointed as KASU’s first female Registrar, marking a milestone in the university’s history. Her leadership is characterized by professionalism, collaboration, and a commitment to merit-based decisions.
Dr. Balarabe is focused on creating an efficient administrative structure that supports academic excellence, research, and the university’s growth. Her vision continues to elevate KASU’s reputation as a center of learning and innovation.
