Hadiza Umar Mohammed, born in Kaduna State, Nigeria, is an accomplished administrator and academic professional with extensive experience in organizational management, academic administration, and community engagement. She is fluent in English, Hausa, and Pidgin, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Mrs. Mohammed currently serves as a Principal Assistant Registrar at Kaduna State University (KASU), where she oversees the Distance Learning Institute. Her previous roles at KASU include Secretary of the College of Humanities, Education, and Law, as well as Senior Assistant Registrar, Faculty Officer, and Gender Desk Officer. Additionally, she has been a part-time lecturer for the History Department, teaching courses such as Nigerian People and Culture.
Her career spans over two decades, beginning with administrative roles at the National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) and later serving as Programme Coordinator at Millennium Hope Program. She is also a founding member and director of Tafdeel Investment Services Ltd and Rare Gem Academy.
Mrs. Mohammed holds a Master’s degree in History from Kaduna State University and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Her certifications include advanced digital skills and international digital literacy.
