Career Pathways in Focus as KASU Engages at Kaduna Career Fair 2025

Kaduna State University (KASU) students were actively engaged at the Kaduna Career Fair 2025, held on Saturday, 5th April 2025 at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Hall, Murtala Square, Kaduna. The event was organized by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Technology in collaboration with Jobberman, with the aim of bridging the gap between young talents and top employers across various sectors.

Representing the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, the Director of the Centre for Mentorship and Career Development, Dr. Bashariya B. Mustapha, delivered a goodwill message, emphasizing the university’s commitment to fostering industry-ready graduates and promoting meaningful career pathways for students.

The keynote address was delivered by the Special Adviser to the Vice Chancellor on Research Culture, Prof. Hauwau Evelyn Yusuf, who underscored the importance of innovation, digital skills, and adaptability in today’s competitive job market.

The KASU delegation also included the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. M.K. Dauda, Mrs. Amina .M. Mustapha, Mr. Kantiok Shem, and a vibrant group of students who took full advantage of the networking and learning opportunities presented at the fair.

The event marked a significant step toward strengthening university-industry collaboration and enhancing the employability of KASU graduates.
