The State Executive Council of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU), led by its Chairman, Comrade Richard Dogo, paid a courtesy visit to the management of Kaduna State University (KASU) on Thursday, February 27, 2025. The visit preceded the union’s third-quarter State Executive Council regular meeting for 2024, which was scheduled to hold at KASU. The visit aimed to strengthen the relationship between NASU and the university management.
In his remarks, Comrade Dogo expressed gratitude to the KASU management for granting them an audience and commended their efforts in enhancing the welfare of non-academic staff.
Welcoming the delegation, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa, appreciated the union for selecting KASU as the host institution for their meeting. He harped on the importance of strategic partnerships and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to collaborating with NASU to improve the welfare of its members.
Prof. Musa also urged the union to prioritize continuous education by organizing regular workshops for its members. He concluded by wishing them successful deliberations and a fruitful meeting.
