KASU Bursary Department Bids Farewell to Mr. Irimiya Yohanna as He Retires from Service

The Bursary Department of Kaduna State University (KASU) has honored Mr. Irimiya Yohanna with a heartfelt sendforth ceremony as he bows out of service. The event, which was attended by staff, guests, and well-wishers from various departments, celebrated his years of dedication and service to the institution.

In her welcome address, the Bursar expressed her gratitude for the privilege of working with Mr. Yohanna, describing him as a role model in financial management and record-keeping. She commended his professionalism, integrity, and warm relationship with colleagues, stating that he had set a high standard for others to follow. She wished him success in his future endeavors.

Also speaking at the event, Professor Ayodele Joseph, Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, and Mr. Bulus Zanden, Deputy Bursar, praised Mr. Yohanna for his outstanding contributions to the university. Professor Ayodele, in particular, acknowledged the impact Mr. Yohanna had on his professional journey and lauded his commitment to service.

Members of the Bursary Department also joined in celebrating their departing colleague, offering their best wishes for his retirement.

In his response, Mr. Yohanna expressed surprise at the farewell event, stating that he was deeply moved by the gesture. He thanked his colleagues for their support throughout his years of service and apologized to anyone he might have unintentionally offended. He also encouraged unity and cooperation among staff for the progress of the Bursary Department and KASU as a whole.
