Professor Nuraddeen Usman Miko, PhD, is a distinguished academic and professional specialising in Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. A Professor at Kaduna State University, he has extensive teaching, research, administrative and supervisory experience, with numerous publications, professional certifications, and contributions to academic and institutional development.
Professor Miko holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Universiti Utara Malaysia, alongside master’s degrees in Accounting and Finance and Global Logistics, Procurement and Supply Chain Management. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and professional qualifications in accounting, procurement, project management, transport and logistics.
His academic and administrative experience includes serving as Deputy Dean, Head of Department, Director of the Centre for Procurement and Supply Chain Management, and Director of the Centre for Executive Education and Soft Skills Development. He has supervised numerous undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral research projects and serves as an external examiner for several universities. His research interests and publications cover corporate governance, financial reporting, auditing, taxation, logistics, procurement, supply chain resilience, and operational efficiency.
