Professor Abdussalam A. F., born in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria, is a distinguished scholar and expert in environmental and climate sciences. A native of Sabon Gari Local Government Area, Kaduna State, he resides in Kaduna with his wife and four children.
Professor Abdussalam specializes in Applied Climatology/Meteorology, Climate Change Impact Assessment, Environmental Changes, and Disaster Risk Management. His research focuses on sustainable development, climate-health interactions, and environmental impact assessments. He holds a PhD in Geography and Environmental Sciences from the University of Birmingham, UK (2014), an MSc in Geography from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (2007), and a BSc in Geography from Bayero University, Kano (1999).
