Ja’afar Abdulkadir is a Senior Lecturer at Kaduna State University, where he specializes in Community Development and Gender Studies. Born in Zaria, Kaduna State, he earned his PhD in Sociology from the University Utara Malaysia in 2020. Ja’afar also holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. He has extensive experience in teaching, research, and consultancy.
Ja’afar’s academic journey includes working as a lecturer at Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic and serving as a part-time lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He has contributed to several international and local conferences, focusing on social issues like gender equality, community development, and educational policies. His research has been published in renowned journals, addressing topics such as sexual abuse, child marriage, and the impact of educational policies on girl-child enrolment in northern Nigeria.
