Dr. Muhammad Sani Mukhtar (Goni) is a distinguished scholar and Senior Lecturer at Kaduna State University, serving as the Head of the Department of Arts and Social Sciences Education. With a PhD in Islamic Studies, his academic contributions span extensive research, teaching, and supervision, with expertise in Islamic law, education, and societal development.

Biography

Dr. Muhammad Sani Mukhtar (Goni), born on February 6, 1978, in Ringim, Jigawa State, Nigeria, is a distinguished Islamic scholar, educator, and academic leader. At 46 years old, he serves as the Head of the Department of Arts and Social Sciences Education at Kaduna State University (KASU), where he is a Senior Lecturer.

Dr. Mukhtar’s academic journey includes a PhD in Islamic Studies from Bayero University, Kano (2018), an MA in Islamic Studies from the same institution (2012), and a BA in Islamic Law from Al-Azhar University, Cairo (2001). He also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from FCE Kano and specialized in teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers in Libya.

With over two decades of teaching, research, and supervision experience, Dr. Mukhtar has held academic positions at various institutions, including Jigawa State College of Education and Kaduna State University. He has supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate projects and participated in international conferences, addressing critical issues such as Qur’anic studies, Islamic philanthropy, and socio-economic challenges.

Dr. Mukhtar is a prolific writer with publications in reputable journals, reflecting his expertise in Islamic law, history, and social responsibility. Married and residing in Kano State, he continues to contribute significantly to academic and Islamic discourse globally.
