Biography

Dr. Gandi Bala is a Lecturer I in the Department of Animal Science at the Faculty of Agriculture, Kaduna State University, Kafanchan Campus, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. in Animal Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (2021), and has been a dedicated academic at KASU since his first appointment in 2015. Dr. Bala’s research focuses on animal nutrition, livestock management, and sustainable agricultural practices. He has published in reputable journals, contributing to advancements in poultry and rabbit farming, as well as feed quality management.

In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Bala is an active member of professional bodies such as the Nigerian Institute of Animal Science (NIAS) and the Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN). He has participated in several training programs, including in survey data analysis and animal feed risk assessment. Dr. Bala is committed to improving animal science education and contributing to sustainable agricultural development in Nigeria.
