Ahmad Abubakar Aliyu, a native of Zaria, Kaduna State, is a senior lecturer at Kaduna State University. He holds a PhD and MSc from Wuhan University, China, and has additional degrees from NOUN and the International University of Africa. His academic journey reflects excellence and dedication to education.
Ahmad Abubakar Aliyu, a proud indigene of Zaria in Kaduna State, is a senior lecturer at Kaduna State University with a strong passion for teaching, research, and community development. His academic journey is marked by excellence and a continuous pursuit of knowledge. He holds a PhD in his field from Wuhan University, China (2021–2024), where he also earned an MSc degree with First Class honors (2020–2021). He previously obtained another MSc from the National Open University of Nigeria (2014–2017) with a Second Class Upper, and a BSc from the International University of Africa, Khartoum, Sudan (2008–2011) with Second Class honors.
His foundational education began at Arabic Teachers College, Maiduguri, where he obtained his SSCE/NECO (1997–2003), and at Ma’ahad Sheikh Ahmad Abulfathi School, Maiduguri, where he received his Leaving School Certificate. Throughout his academic and professional career, Dr. Ahmad has demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence, capacity building, and youth empowerment.
Beyond academia, he is deeply passionate about new technologies, horse riding, and social service. These hobbies reflect his dynamic personality and his drive to contribute positively to society. Dr. Ahmad remains dedicated to advancing education and development both within and beyond the university setting.
