Aminu began his career with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the Kebbi State Ministry of Works and Transport, where he contributed to various public infrastructure projects. He later gained experience at AG Partnership Ltd, where he developed practical skills in cost management and project estimation during his student industrial training and subsequent employment. Since 2019, he has been working at Kaduna State University, where he applies his expertise in quantity surveying to the academic environment.
