The Interfaith Students Association on Thursday, 8 January 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Kaduna State University (KASU), Professor Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, to formally present its peace-building and interfaith understanding initiative



The delegation was led by the association’s president, Nafiu Muhammad Dahiru, and was received by the Vice-Chancellor alongside the Registrar, Barrister Samira Balarabe; the Bursar, Hauwa Mohammed Dalhatu; and officials of the Corporate Services Department.
Other members of the delegation included Fatima Yusuf, Ahmed Ibrahim Saminaka, Delvan Ezekiel, and Kyon Deborah.
Addressing the university management, the association explained that the initiative is designed to promote unity, dialogue, and peaceful coexistence among students of different faiths, with Kaduna State University serving as the starting point.



In his response, Professor Musa welcomed the delegation and commended the students for the initiative, describing it as timely and commendable. He encouraged them to pursue their activities with responsibility and assured them of the university’s support.
The Registrar, Barrister Samira Balarabe, also urged the association to sustain its efforts in fostering unity and understanding among students, while encouraging them to build on the positive work they have already begun.
