Kaduna State University marked a proud moment as Mr. Bulus Zanden, Deputy Bursar, was presented with a distinguished award from the Bursar’s Office in recognition of his outstanding service and commitment to duty.
The award presentation was graced by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa, alongside members of the University Management. In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor expressed heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Zanden for his dedication and exemplary conduct, noting that his contributions have positively impacted the University’s financial administration.
Members of Management also extended their congratulations, with special commendation from the Registrar, Samira Balarabe, Esq., who offered thoughtful and encouraging words to the recipient. Staff of the Bursar’s Office joined in celebrating him, thanking him for his professionalism and diligence.
The Bursar, Haj. Hauwa M. Dalhat, described it as an honour to have worked closely with Mr. Zanden, acknowledging his support and collaborative spirit as Deputy Bursar.
In his response, Mr. Zanden expressed sincere gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, the Management team, and the entire staff of the Bursary Department for their support, trust, and cooperation. He also appreciated the warm wishes from colleagues and friends as he looks forward to a successful retirement.
He encouraged his colleagues to remain hardworking so that they too could earn promotions to the next level. He advised those who have not yet received their confirmation to “tighten their belts” and work diligently to achieve it.
