Salamatu Umar is a Maternal and Child Health Nursing (MSc in view) student from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a graduate in the same institution. She is an assistant lecturer of the Department of Nursing Sciences with the task of lecturing undergraduate student nurses, conducting research and community service. She is currently the clinical coordinator officer and the Assistant Exam Officer of the department. She is also a member of Examination Committee and Clinical Coordination Committee of the Department. Her research interest is Maternal and Child Health Nursing, focusing on water birth. She is also a resource person at the Center for Energy, Environmental and Strategic Research Institution, Kaduna State University.
