Arc. Ezekiel Marcus is an experienced architect with over 13 years of expertise in project management, design, construction, and maintenance. He was born on June 12 in the early 1980s in Kofar Fada Malumfashi, Katsina State. He graduated with a BSc in Architecture (Second Class Upper) from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria in 2006, followed by a Master of Science in Architecture in 2009.
Marcus began his career with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) in 2011. He later worked at several firms, including Trimetron Nigeria Limited, Groupone Dimension Limited, and Arch-Trimulti Dimension, where he was responsible for significant projects like the Barau Dikko Specialist Hospital upgrade. He also worked as a Consultant Architect for Directorate Activities International (DAI) during the 2020-2021 pandemic, constructing airtight laboratories.
Currently, Marcus serves as Principal Architect and Head of the Works and Maintenance Unit at Kaduna State University. He is a full member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON). He is pursuing a PhD in Architecture, focusing on Post-Occupancy Evaluation of Buildings. He is married with three children.
