Professor Abdullahi Muhammad was born in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He is a distinguished academician and a professor in the Department of Islamic Studies at Kaduna State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Islamic Studies from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 2016, after completing his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees at Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto, between 1995 and 2003. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and a Certificate in Computer Science.
Throughout his career, Professor Muhammad has demonstrated a deep commitment to Islamic education and community service. He has contributed extensively to both the academic and social spheres. As a patron and active member of various educational and religious organizations, he has been involved in many initiatives that support Islamic scholarship and community welfare. He is currently the Deputy Chief Imam of Abdullahi Fodio Mosque in Zaria and has played a role in various charitable and educational committees.
