Mrs Salamatu Ishaku is a Lecturer in the Department of Nursing Science, Kaduna State University, Kaduna. She is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Nurse, Midwife, Public Health Nurse and a Public Health Nurse Educator. She attended the University of Nigeria where she obtained her MSc. in Community Health Nursing and is currently undergoing her Ph.D programme in the same University. She obtained her BNSc. in Nursing, HND in Public Health Nursing as well as PGDE all from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She also attended Kaduna State Polytechnic Zaria where she obtained Diploma in Public Administration. She is a Fellow of the African Institute of Public Health Professionals and has been an examiner for the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. She has published many research works in both local and international journals. She is married with children.
Salamatu Ishaku, a Lecturer II at Kaduna State University, specializes in Community and Public Health Nursing. She has published extensively in local and international journals, contributing to research on public health, HIV/AIDS, diabetes, and cancer care. Her studies emphasize improving healthcare delivery, community health strategies, and mentoring future nurses.
