The research area explores the potential of smart transport systems in promoting sustainable development in Nigeria. With rapid urbanization and poor transportation infrastructure, Nigeria faces challenges like congestion, pollution, and poverty. The study assesses strategies for adopting smart transport systems, evaluates the current road transport system, identifies potential benefits and challenges, and develops an implementation strategy for the development of Nigerian urban roads.
