Mohammed Sani Saadatu, Born in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Obtained first school leaving certificate in 1997, national examination council 2002, interim joint matriculation board certificate (IJMB) 2004, registered nurse 2009, registered midwife 2018, BNSc 2009, MSc nursing 2017 (community health nursing), and presently undergoing PHd nursing in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. Mohammed Sani Saadatu also obtained post graduate diploma in education 2012 and postgraduate diploma in reproduction 2013. Saadatu if happily married with 6kids.

Biography

Mohammed Sani Saadatu, a Lecturer I in the Department of Nursing Sciences, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Kaduna State University, specializes in Community/Public Health Nursing. Born on February 14, 1984, she holds RN, RM, BNSc, MSc (Community Health Nursing), and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Nursing at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Her academic journey includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Reproduction.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Saadatu has served in various roles, including Lecturer II at Kaduna State University and other health institutions. Her career started as an auxiliary nurse and transitioned into academia, focusing on community health nursing. Saadatu has actively participated in numerous professional workshops and training programs, enhancing her expertise in maternal and neonatal health.

Her research interests include neonates, children, and maternal health, with notable publications on harmful cultural practices, neonatal care, and self-medication among pregnant women. Saadatu has presented research at national and international conferences, addressing key public health issues like chronic kidney disease and female genital mutilation.

Dedicated to professional excellence, Saadatu has contributed to advancing public health nursing through teaching, mentorship, and research. Happily married with six children, she exemplifies commitment to improving healthcare outcomes in her community.
