Dr. Emmanuel Dangana Monday is a Senior Lecturer at Kaduna State University specializing in Political Geography and Environmental Analysis. Biography

Dr. Emmanuel Dangana Monday Dr. Emmanuel Dangana Monday is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geography and Sustainability Studies at Kaduna State University, Nigeria. His academic and research expertise span political geography, environmental analysis, and geospatial studies, with a keen focus on the spatial implications of political processes and their impact on resource distribution and environmental transformation. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Geography and Electoral Analysis from Atlantic International University, USA (2023), and is pursuing another Ph.D. in Sustainable Resources Management at Bayero University, Kano. He also holds an M.Sc. in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Ibadan, a B.Sc. in Geography and Regional Planning from the University of Benin, and a PGDE from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. Dr. Monday has authored and co-authored numerous scholarly publications addressing climate change, electoral systems, environmental sustainability, and governance. His research aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and integrates GIS and Remote Sensing for spatial and political analysis. A committed academic, administrator, and mentor, he serves in various departmental capacities and is a member of professional bodies including ANG, TRCN, and NIM (Chartered). His scholarship promotes innovation, sustainable governance, and equitable resource management.
