Ahmed Muhammad Sambo is a highly motivated and skilled Geography professional with a first-class honours degree in Geography from Kaduna State University, where he is currently pursuing a Master of Science in the same field. He is passionate about environmental sustainability and climate change, with a keen interest in meteorology and data analysis.
Since January 2021, he has served as an Assistant Lecturer at Kaduna State University, teaching both Physical Geography and General Studies. He has developed and delivered lectures on topics like landforms, climate, environmental processes, and the historical development of scientific thought. His teaching approach incorporates multimedia tools to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
Ahmed’s professional journey also includes volunteer work with the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), where he observed weather conditions and communicated data to airlines for flight safety. He has been involved in several environmental advocacy initiatives, including collaborations with RecycleGarb Hub Ltd, Plogging Nigeria, and SustyVibes, focusing on climate action and waste management.
His academic contributions include multiple publications on climate variability, agricultural drought, and land surface temperature in reputable journals. A member of the Association of Nigerian Geographers, he continues to make impactful contributions to the field of Geography and environmental sustainability.
