CMCD hosted a landmark One-Day Career Readiness Workshop titled “Life After Graduation: Navigating Challenges, Exploring Career Opportunities, and Building a Path to Success,” drawing approximately 2,000 students eager to prepare for their professional futures.
The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe, delivered a compelling keynote address, emphasizing that employers increasingly value practical skills, teamwork, and effective communication over academic certificates alone. She urged students to develop these crucial competencies alongside their formal education.
In his remarks, Kaduna State University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, reaffirmed the institution’s competitiveness and unwavering commitment to academic excellence. The Kaduna State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Mohammed Sani Bello, praised KASU’s leadership across several disciplines and commended CMCD for its role in guiding students toward meaningful career paths.
Distinguished attendees included the Emir of Zazzau, HRH Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, represented by Barde Kerarriyan Zazzau, Arc. Haruna Bamalli, alongside industry experts and officers from various security agencies. The workshop provided students with practical insights into post-graduation challenges and opportunities, equipping them with strategies for success in today’s competitive job market.
