Biography

Mr. Aminu Abdul-Hadi Dabo is a distinguished academic and dedicated environmental specialist, currently serving as a Lecturer II in the Department of Geography and Sustainability Studies at Kaduna State University. With over a decade of professional and academic experience, his career spans teaching, research, and public service in environmental management, disaster risk reduction, and sustainability studies. He holds two Master’s degrees in Environmental Management (2016) and Disaster Risk Management and Development Studies (2019) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, as well as a B.Sc. in Geography from the same institution. Additionally, he possesses a Post-Graduate Diploma in Environmental Health, an NCE in Chemistry/Integrated Science from FCE Zaria, and a Diploma in Software Utilization. Mr. Dabo’s professional journey includes notable roles at the Kaduna State Environmental Protection Authority (KEPA), the Ministry of Environment, and the Shehu Idris College of Health Sciences and Technology, Makarfi. At KASU, he serves in various academic and administrative capacities, including Coordinator of Environmental and Safety Management programs. A committed researcher and environmental advocate, he actively engages in projects addressing climate change, sanitation, and disaster management. Mr. Dabo continues his academic pursuit with a Ph.D. in Disaster Management, reflecting his passion for sustainable environmental development and community resilience.
