A delegation from the Zamfara State College of Health on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, paid a courtesy visit to Kaduna State University, KASU, to discuss possible academic collaboration and degree programme affiliation.



The delegation was led by the Provost, Mallam Jamilu Lawal, and included Mallam Lawal Abubakar and Mallam Nura Musa, Director of Academic and Physical Planning of the Zamfara State College of Health Sciences and Technology.
The delegation was received by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic, Professor Yusha’u Ango, who represented the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa.


Other officials present at the meeting were the KASU Bursar, Hauwa Mohammed Dalhatu, and Professor Auwal Farouk Abdulsalam, Director of Academic Planning, and Corporate Services Department, KASU.
Speaking during the visit, the Provost stated that the engagement was aimed at creating opportunities for diploma and higher national diploma graduates of the college to upgrade to degree programmes through partnership with Kaduna State University.
In his response, Professor Yusha’u Ango welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed the university’s openness to collaboration, while advising the submission of a formal proposal for further consideration.
Both institutions expressed optimism about strengthening academic cooperation in the area of health education.
