Kaduna, Nigeria — Kaduna State University (KASU) successfully hosted its 4th International Conference 2025 under the theme “Accountability, Management Innovation and Security Solutions for Sustainable Development.”
The conference brought together scholars, policymakers, industry experts, students, and royal representatives to discuss solutions for sustainable development in Nigeria and beyond.
Prof. Aminu Ladan Sharehu, Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, welcomed participants and highlighted key sub-themes including financial reporting, corporate governance, Islamic finance, youth empowerment, logistics, and public sector reforms.
His Royal Highness, the Emir of Zazzau, represented by Alhaji Shitu Ibrahim Dikko, commended KASU for fostering critical thinking, research, and collaboration. Prof. Bello Sabo, Lead Paper Presenter from Bayero University, Kano, discussed management innovation, accountability, security solutions, and sustainable development.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa, represented by Prof. Helen Afang Andow, encouraged participants to uphold integrity, transparency, and innovation in driving sustainable progress. Keynote remarks from Rt. Hon. Yusuf Zailani (delivered by Halliru Sirajo Rigachikun) stressed accountability as the foundation for trust, governance, and lasting development.
The conference, held from 3rd to 5th December 2025, provided a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration, positioning KASU as a hub for solutions to Nigeria’s socio-economic and security challenges.
