KASU Farms Ltd, the commercial agricultural arm of Kaduna State University (KASU), has commenced the sale of its farm produce to staff and students of the institution at the Kaduna Campus. The products made available for sale include broiler chicken, fresh fish, and tomatoes, all produced through the University’s agricultural initiatives.



The sales exercise took place at the designated collection point in front of the 500-seater Pharmacy Theatre at exactly 11:00am, following the prior booking and payment arrangements. Staff and students who had made bookings turned up in large numbers to collect their items, while others also expressed interest in purchasing available stock.
The initiative is part of KASU’s ongoing effort to promote practical agriculture, encourage food sufficiency, and provide fresh farm products at affordable rates to the University community. Beneficiaries commended KASU Farms Ltd for the quality and freshness of the produce, describing the exercise as timely and well-organised.




Speaking during the exercise, a representative of KASU Farms Ltd noted that the programme will continue in phases and is aimed at not only serving the University community but also enhancing internally generated revenue and supporting agricultural learning and innovation.
The successful turnout recorded at the Kaduna Campus reflects the growing confidence of the University community in the products of KASU Farms Ltd and its commitment to sustainable agricultural development.
