KASU DEPARTMENT OF CRS HOLDS SYMPOSIUM

A symposium on “Revitalising the Study of Christian Religion in the Digital Generation” was successfully held on Tuesday , 2nd September 2025, with Rev. Dr. John J. Hayab serving as the Guest Speaker. The event focused on the challenges and opportunities of engaging the digital generation in the study and practice of Christian Religion.

Rev. Dr. Hayab emphasized the importance of adopting innovative teaching methods, integrating digital tools, and addressing contemporary issues facing young people in order to sustain relevance and effectiveness in Christian religious studies. The session also encouraged dialogue among participants on bridging generational gaps and making religious education more impactful in a digital age.

The symposium was well-attended, interactive, and provided practical insights that will contribute to the academic and spiritual development of students and staff.
