Leaders from Ungwan Rimi community paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of Kaduna State University (KASU), Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, on Monday, 11th August 2025, to thank him for his support and discuss more ways to work together.
The delegation included traditional rulers, religious leaders from both Christian and Muslim faiths, local security heads, and political representatives.



The Imam of Nagwamatse Mosque appreciated the Vice Chancellor for providing job opportunities, helping with school admissions, and giving quick help during emergencies through the KASU Fire Service. He also requested more job openings for drivers, security staff, and other positions, as well as more admission chances for young people in the community.
The representative of the District Head of Ungwan Kudu, commended the Vice Chancellor’s good works and promised to strengthen the relationship between KASU and the community. The APC Chairman for Kaduna North also thanked him for assigning security officers to the area and ensuring regular patrols to prevent robbery and other crimes.



Prof. Musa welcomed the visitors and assured them of his continued support. He said, God willing, he will assist with job opportunities whenever vacancies are available. He also announced that he would personally pay for the medical treatment of 10 families, especially orphans.
