Kaduna State University (KASU) on Monday, 4th August 2025, welcomed a delegation from the Federal University of Education (FUE), Zaria, during a courtesy visit aimed at promoting academic collaboration between the two institutions.
The visiting team, led by Dr. Faisal Ahmed Imam, Deputy Director of Zaria Consultancy, was received by the Vice Chancellor of KASU, Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa. Other members of the delegation included Amina Muhammad, Head of Department, Library and Information Science; Kwairanga Saminu Mafindi, Desk Officer at the Career Services Centre; and Mr. Emmanuel Ajayi, Senior Lecturer, Department of Library and Information Science.
The visit comes as FUE prepares to host its maiden International Conference themed “Enhancing Technological Approaches and Instructional Delivery Methods in Transforming Teacher Education in the 21st Century.”
During the meeting, the delegation formally invited Prof. Musa to serve as the keynote speaker at the upcoming conference.
In his response, the Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude for the honour and confirmed his acceptance of the invitation. He also reaffirmed KASU’s commitment to fostering inter-institutional partnerships that promote the growth and transformation of higher education in Nigeria.
Prof. Musa commended the FUE team for the initiative and extended his best wishes for a successful conference, while also wishing the visitors a safe return to Zaria.
