In a significant move to promote religious harmony and social cohesion, the Interfaith Forum of Muslim and Christian Women’s Association organized an interview session with the Vice Chancellor of Kaduna State University (KASU), Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, at his office today, Tuesday, 5th August 2025.
The visit featured an exclusive interview anchored by Yahya Isa of NTA Kaduna, focusing on the forum’s innovative strategies for fostering inter-religious dialogue and peaceful coexistence in Kaduna State and beyond.
In his remarks, Prof. Musa emphasized the crucial role that inter-religious dialogue plays in building bridges between communities of different faiths. He noted that such dialogue fosters mutual understanding, respect, and peaceful cohabitation among diverse groups.
The VC further stated that Kaduna State University is a committed partner in promoting interfaith initiatives, adding that the university recognizes and supports the importance of peace and harmony in the development of any society.
He commended the efforts of the Interfaith Forum and advised them to consider incorporating university students in their annual programmes and workshops. According to him, engaging young people will not only expand the forum’s reach but also cement relationships and strengthen tolerance among the next generation of leaders.
The meeting marked another milestone in KASU’s ongoing support for initiatives that promote unity and religious understanding across communities in Nigeria.
