With its dedicated researchers, endowed natural environment, and state-of-the-art facilities—including modern laboratories, a well-equipped teaching and research farm, and advanced tools in econometric and audio-visual units—the Faculty is well-positioned to provide interdisciplinary solutions to societal challenges in agriculture.
The Faculty actively partners with communities, industries, government organizations, other institutions, and non-profits to address emerging challenges. Its extension services connect university expertise with the broader community. Faculty members collaborate with farmers’ cooperatives and extension workers to deliver valuable advice and support to local communities.
As part of its outreach activities, the Faculty maintains a model village, serving as an adopted village for extension services, and conducts short courses and workshops to benefit businesses, organizations, and communities across Kaduna State and Nigeria at large.
