Elisha Yari Dangiwa, PhD of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, College of Management and Social Sciences at Kaduna State University (KASU) has secured a sponsorship to attend the TROPENTAG 2024 conference at the campus of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU), Vienna, Austria.
Tetfund will be sponsoring the trip for three days which will be spent there with effect from 11th to 13th September 2024. During the conference, he will be presenting a paper on the impact of energy consumption (fuelwood) on the sustainability of forests in the Afaka forest reserve, Kaduna State, Nigeria. After this, he will have the opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with experts in that field.
After the conference, Elisha Yari Dangiwa will return to KASU more exposed and equipped with new insight into his field of study, thereby contributing to the intellectual growth of the students and the university at large.
