KASU and KADFREC forge a path towards Fiscal Responsibility and Educational Excellence
A familiarisation visit to Kaduna State University (KASU) by the Kaduna State Fiscal Responsibility Commission (KADFREC) took place on Thursday, 27th June 2024, at the university’s main campus.
The delegation, led by KADFREC Chairman/CEO, Alhaji Abdullahi Muhammad Ibrahim (Ameer), expressed a strong interest in working with KASU. He stressed that the commission’s role is to ensure prudent public expenditure, financial management, and discipline for positive economic stability in the state.
In his response, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa, represented by DVC Academic, Prof. Yusha’u Ibrahim Ango, warmly welcomed the guests and assured them of the management’s cooperation for the betterment of the system. The university Registrar, Barr. Samira Balarabe, also expressed the university’s readiness for such an endeavour, highlighting the importance of leveraging KADFREC’s expertise and vice versa.
The meeting concluded with both parties affirming their commitment to working together to advance the interests of the university and the state.

to the VC, Mr Bakut Joshephat Amai and Hajiya Bilkisu Lukman.
