Recently, our department conducted a study titled “Improving Mental Health Services at Kaduna State University: A Holistic Approach to Psychiatric Care.” This research aimed to explore strategies for improving mental health services, enhancing early diagnosis and intervention, and promoting mental wellness within the university environment.

One of the key research initiatives undertaken by the department was “Improving Mental Health Services at Kaduna State University: A Holistic Approach to Psychiatric Care.” The background of the study highlights that Kaduna State University faces significant mental health challenges, including stress, anxiety, and depression among students and staff, which can adversely affect academic performance and overall well-being.
