The Entrepreneurship Research and Development Centre is a hub where mindsets are changed, entrepreneurial ideas are nurtured, and dreams are transformed into reality.
In addition to our extensive knowledge base, the Centre offers various programs, workshops, and events aimed at fostering a vibrant community of like-minded individuals. Here, we connect with fellow entrepreneurs, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and partner with invaluable entrepreneurs to share their experiences in order to take entrepreneurship to new heights.
The mission of the Entrepreneurship Research and Development Centre is to provide exceptional entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial mindset development for the growth of individuals and businesses, while instilling in individuals and organizations the spirit of creativity and innovation in life and in business, using cutting-edge modes of instruction in an environment that thrives toward excellence.
The vision of the Entrepreneurship Research and Development Centre is to become a centre of world-class standard with excellence in research and entrepreneurship development, while fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and culture, as well as skill acquisition, self-employment, economic independence, and self-actualization.
The aim of this course is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to navigate the entrepreneurial landscape and foster innovation. Students gain a deep understanding of entrepreneurship principles including opportunity identification, business planning, market analysis, and strategic decision-making.
This course equips aspiring entrepreneurs with the essential knowledge, skills, and tools required to successfully create, develop, and scale their ventures through a comprehensive and hands-on approach.
This program provides financial planning and management capacity to entrepreneurs in the modern age of tight finances, covering income and expenditure, budgeting, cash-flow projections, and growth planning.
This course trains participants in emotional intelligence and its relationship with entrepreneurial success. It teaches how to strategically increase EQ, manage emotions, and build lasting relationships that yield better business results.
The Centre offers certificate courses in business networking and mentoring, poultry production, risk management and corporate governance, cosmetology, leather works (shoes, wallets, belts, and bags), catering, negotiation, and many other skill-based programs.
Research focus areas include entrepreneurship, employability, employment, enterprise development, creativity, and innovation to inspire enterprise, create business frameworks, and support business start-up and scaling.
